3 New Hampshire Montessori Schools for Hands-On Learning

As a homeschool mom, I value being able to watch my kids learn through hands-on activities and collaborative play. Watching them explore, get their hands in the dirt, build imagination, and have fun has become super important to me as they grow. This blog is dedicated to the most highly-rated, hands-on New Hampshire Montessori schools that I know you'll love.

Hollis Montessori School

A group of parents inspired by Montessori's education methodology started Hollis Montessori School in September 2008. This school facility aims to spark kids' imaginations and motivate them toward self-discovery. Positive learning environments are cultivated at Hollis through compassion and collaboration. Likewise, curiosity, self-direction, and engagement are highly encouraged. A variety of lessons are taught within each grade range. For example, skills and independence are developed in 3-6 year classes through sequenced lessons. Kids can pick from a range of activities for three hours every morning, for example. They could be watering plants, caring for themselves, or solving mathematical equations with materials. Students in grades 1-6 work on projects in small groups using a research learning style, while students in grades 7-9 deal with real-world issues. Geography, biology, history, language, mathematics, music, and art are some subjects studied by both grade levels. Enrollment includes an application and a tour, followed by securing a spot through a deposit. You can visit the Hollis Montessori school at 9 S Merrimack Road, Hollis, NH 03049.
